Lake Superior Area REALTORS®, Inc. was formed in August 2017 when the Duluth Area Association of REALTORS® and the Superior Area Association of REALTORS® merged into a single organization. A volunteer Board of Directors governs the association.
The Duluth Area Association of REALTORS® formed in 1906 as a founding member of the National Association of REALTORS®. The Superior Area Association of REALTORS® formed in 1910 as one of the association’s earliest members.
LSAR provides education, the multiple listing service, legislative advocacy, and professional standards enforcement for its members. The association also serves as a resource on real estate matters for government agencies, media, and the public.
The Executive Committee is composed of LSAR’s elected officers. It oversees daily governance and acts on behalf of the full Board of Directors between board meetings.
