How Committees & Task Forces Work
LSAR’s committees and task forces are made up of member volunteers who support the Association’s work across a range of focus areas. Each group operates under a chair and a dedicated staff liaison, meets regularly throughout the year, and serves an annual term. Committees review policy and program matters within their focus area and bring recommendations to the Board of Directors for approval.
Members in good standing who want to join a committee should contact the committee chair directly. Appointments are made at the committee’s discretion.
Standing Committees:
MLS Management Committee
The MLS Management Committee oversees the administration and performance of LSAR’s Multiple Listing Service and its ancillary products. The committee reviews MLS Rules, monitors system performance, and evaluates fines and fine appeals submitted by members. It also recommends updates to the MLS program, coverage areas, and data standards.
